ANDREA FILIPPETTI

 

Over twenty years of experience, first as a shooter and now as a professional coach. His skills, his coaching methods are some of his main features.

He trains groups and people of all ages and all levels, from amateurs up to the professionals. During these years, in addition to many successes, he has obtained numerous certifications:

In 2014 he obtained the certificate CERTIFIED ISSF SHOOTING SPORTS COACH CLASS “B”.

In 2013 he obtained the certificate CERTIFIED ISSF SHOOTING SPORTS COACH CLASS “C”.

In 2013 he was appointed FEDERAL TRAINER.

In 2010 he obtained the certificate INTERNATIONAL INSTRUCTOR shooting ISA (International Shooting Academy).

In 2005 he obtained the certificate FEDERAL INSTRUCTOR of shooting.

His long experience, first as an athlete and then as a coach, and the certifications acquired, allowed him over the years to achieve prominent positions:

In 2014 he was appointed by FITAV technical contact person and responsible for the discipline of the youth skeet.

In 2014, he holds the course again “technique and teaching skeet” at the University of Tor Vergata – Rome.

In 2013, he teaches “technique and teaching skeet” at the University of Tor Vergata – Rome.

In 2012 he was appointed coach of the FITAV National University and Under 23 / b.

In 2011 he is nominated coach at Fiamme Oro Shooting Team (Sporting Group of the State Police). This role to this day, has given him many satisfactions, thanks to the results achieved by the athletes he trains.

As an athlete he starts begins practice shooting for fun with his father who was a aficionado. His story in this sport began in 1991 when he set foot for the first time on a platform and shot his first clay target. In 1995, he joined the junior national team and in the same year he won third place at the World Junior Championship individual and team. From that moment on, he participates in many international competitions, World Championships, European Championships and World Cups. In 2000 he was appointed Olympic reserve for the Sydney Olympics. In 2001 he achieved fifth place in the World Cup in Brazil. In the years 2006, 2007 and 2008 he won many national competitions. In April 2008, he won third place in the World Cup in Beijing, which allows him to climb to ninth place in the world ranking. In the world championships in Slovenia in 2009 he is eleventh; he is ranked second in the Italian championship in the years 2009-2010 in the category of Excellence, the highest category in Italy. In 2010, for the first time, he takes part in the world championship of the Police Forces in Kuwait coming in third place. In 2011 he participates in the “World Police & Fire Games” in New York (USA), winning second place in the competition “Skeet Single” with a score of 99/100 and first place in the competition “Skeet Double” with a score of 97 / 100. He’s first in the overall classification of the two competitions, skeet and double skeet , scoring of 196/200.
